Repairs

Many of us worry that repairs will be costly but repairing your alarm does not have to cost the earth! In most cases the problem is usually a part that needs replacing or some reprogramming work. At LK alarms we want to be transparent in our pricing and take away the worry of a costly repair.

For a £60  initial fee we can diagnose the problem and, if possible, will have you system up and working in no time. We will even include a full system service for this price. Replacement parts and fitting will only be undertaken on your approval following consultation and a full quote to ensure that you are aware of all the costs and are given all the options available. Call us today and we wil. get your system up and running

Service

If you have a service contract with your existing alarm company then the chances are that you're paying too much.

Most large companies charge their domestic customers (you) the same price as commercial customers who have much larger alarm systems that are far more complex.

The good news is our service package is aimed entirely at domestic house alarms and enables us to reduce your costs while giving you all the features you need with quality service and a personal touch, knowing year on year exactly who you're letting look after your home security.

Our service price is £60 per annum with no hard sell, no long contract to sign and no upfront payments; we just get in touch yearly to arrange a convenient time for you.

Upgrades

Upgrades can be the cheapest way of updating your alarm system.

Many homes are fitted with an old system, possibly inherited from the previous owners, which is now obsolete.

While many people are put off by the cost of a new system, what they don't realise is that for a potentally half the price of the cost, the old system can be upgraded to a modern, reliable, easy to use security alarm.

If you have an old system then give us a call, you will be amazed how little an upgrade with us can cost

Installation

Wireless alarm systems are now the go to option as they take away the mess of a wired system. Choosing the correct system, however, can be tricky with many cheap DIY systems flooding the market. While these systems can be cheap to purchase and install, there is often problems finding the help needed to diagnose and repair faults such as false alarms and battery faults. The result of this is that a replacement alarm is often needed. I install the Pyronix Enforcer range, a reliable, well known and well used system.

A wireless Pyronix Enforcer system (see image), fitted by LK Alarms costs just £500 and includes the following:

  • Control panel and keypad
  • External siren
  • Door contact
  • 4 PIR sensors (pet-friendly if required)
  • 2 set/unset tags
  • Optional mobile phone app for remote system control

Additional sensors can be fitted, if required.

A BIT OF HISTORY

Based in Cookridge, Leeds we are a small family business with over 15 years experience in the security industry. Having worked for 4 large secruity companies it became clear to me that smaller, domestic customers were being charged too much and were often served by the least experienced engineers.

At LK Alarms, we pride ourselves on the personal touch; as your engineer I will be the one that comes to your home to service, upgrade, install or repair your system. I will be available to answer your queries and I will be the one to provide quotes for any additional work that you may require, providing continuity of care and excellent service to you the customer.

We only use professional grade equipment that I consider to be the best on the market. I have a wealth of knowledge on many different alarm makes and models. I have a City & Guilds qualification in Alarms and am fully insured.
